Blister’s Barbeque: What a delicious place. Located in the small Mother Hibbard gas station in Rexburg, Blister’s Barbeque serves a variety of different items to satisfy your meaty cravings. This place is fairly well hidden; you would never know of its existence unless you are from the town or have stopped in for a quick snack (15 N 12th W, Rexburg, ID 83440). But once you’re inside, you can quickly smell the aroma of the delicious meats and sandwiches being cooked.
As you look at the menu, there was an array of different choices to choose from. I decided to go with a squealer, or a smaller size, of the tri tip and some waffle fries. The food was faster than I expected. It took 4 minutes to cook up my meal. The tri tip came with cheese and onions and I was able to slather it in the original Blister’s Barbeque Sauce. The place was quiet, but not too quiet, somewhere you can enjoy your friends or family. The price for the squealer was $3.50 but with my fries include it was $6.36. This was a great deal with the amount of fries that was given to me.
Next time you stop for gas or a treat, stop by Blister’s and enjoy a delicious meal.
